Trangie Local Aboriginal Land Council membership roll confirms there are 546 members on Trangie LALC register of which 92 are voting members, 454 non voting members. Of the 546 members, 135 (~25%) reside in Trangie and 411 (~75%) do not reside in Trangie.

Trangie LALC are aware of the requirements of Section 110 of the Aboriginal Land Rights Act (1983) which states that NSWALC must use its best endeavors to increase the total number of voting members of LALC’s in the State by not less than 3% per annum. Trangie LALC will endeavor to ensure it’s membership base in increased in line with the NSW Aboriginal Land Council requirements.
